Being built between four large rocks that make up the structure of the house, Casa do Penedo resembles a Stone Age building. This unusual stone building (located in the Fafe region of northern Portugal) has a ancient-look and looks like the house from Flintstones. Its construction was started in 1972 and lasted about two years. The owners use it as a holiday getaway.

The neighbors call it as the Casa do Penedopenedo means big rock in Portuguese language. Casa do Penedo is camouflaged completely in the surrounding countryside.
