Russia is home to a few tourist attractions, but there are places in Russia, that are remote, rural, unique and breathtaking at the same time. The Island of Onekotane is one of them. Located on the remote Great Kurile ridge, in Sakhalin Oblast, Onekotane has impressive dimensions of 26×10 miles. Also, it is home to two volcanoes: Krenitsyn and Nemo.
