Weird bus stops in Krumbach, Austria - Unusual Places
Krumbach, a small, rural Austrian town has the “world’s most unusual” bus stops. In order to boost tourism, the town administration invited architects from Russia, Chile, China, Norway, Spain, Belgium, and Japan to design bus shelters for its 2,200 residents. As the payment, the architects were offered free vacation in Krumbach. The Schloss Krumbach, an 11th-century castle converted into a decent hotel, is a popular local attraction.
