Five beautiful campuses in the US to visit

If you think that only the best and most pricey universities possess impressive and pleasant campuses, you are wrong. There is a plethora of those that are in a haze yet worthy of visiting. You don’t necessarily have to study at them. However, in order to get a clear picture of gratifying and joyful campuses, paying a visit to the colleges listed below is a must.
Duke University in Durham, North Carolina

Established in 1838 in Durham, Duke University is omnipresent for its Gothic architecture. The central point of this educational institution is Duke Chapel, the highest building that can be spotted on the premises of the university. A lot of people, either visitors or students, call the campus “the Gothic Wonderland” that tends to be one of the most wonderful campuses across the US.
If you are keen on literature, we highly recommend you to read the first Gothic novel written by Horace Walpole, called The Castle of Otranto beforehand, which, in turn, will shed light on some Gothic aspects, building, passages, the overall atmosphere. Some of these aspects might be hard to spot, especially when you have to write a paper describing such views. Online essay writers will do their best to demonstrate the crucial elements you should include in the task. Nevertheless, having a background in Gothicism can play a pivotal role in evaluating the campus that impressed you the most.
Sewanee: The University of the South

Making a smooth-flowing transition from Gothic architecture, it is worth mentioning The University of the South, the campus of which sits on top of the Cumberland Plateau, showing a picturesque panorama of Middle Tennessee. The campus reflects the neo-Gothic architectural style, putting the All Saints’ Chapel, made by Ralph Adams Cram, to the focal point. Not to mention the McClurg Dining Hall that is the incorporation of the neo-Gothic and modernism style, featuring European elements and surrounded by massive green spaces with dignified trees, bushes, and flowers.

The University of Washington-Seattle

Moving to the next era, we can’t eschew Renaissance style with notes of Gothicism. As such, it would be plausible to mention The University of Washington-Seattle with its campus situated on Denny Hall. If you want to feel yourself in France in its early 1500s, this university definitely should be on your must-visit list. The landscape design overflowed with cherry trees, crisscrossed with vivid red brick promenades, and points at Mount Ranier.
Bright tones make you feel enchanted and blessed, and serene views of the Olympic Mountains, the Cascades, and natural setting even augment this feeling.
Furman University

You don’t have to go to Asia to enjoy authentic Asian nature. It is enough to pay a visit to Furman University. Buildings constructed in Georgian-style make this 730-acre campus incredibly green and tranquil. Asian gardens with a stunning lake polish the overall picture of beauty, making the campus a suitable place for walking or running outdoors. The campus offers the bulk of routes that will take you past lovely water fountains, shades of trees, exquisite gardens, and the Furman Farm.
College of William and Mary

The College is widely agreed to be the second-oldest one in the country with its rich, vivid, and significant historical background. One may ask what’s in it that will tempt visiting. And here’s why: this educational institution indubitably has one of the most naturally appealing campuses. If you crave for original natural setting with birds, wild animals, and plants, you have to go there. The place that can’t leave anyone indifferent is Lake Matoaka; it’s an excellent place to bird watch, kayak, hike, canoe, jogging, and do sightseeing. The Martha Wren Briggs Amphitheatre stands in proximity to the lake. A variety of students deploy the venue for the professional or non-professional theater or musical performances.

The Bottom Line
You can decide which one to visit first when you glanced at one of the most attractive campuses in the US. Suffice to say, the aforementioned list doesn’t comprise all the most magnificent campuses you are encouraged to travel to.
