Diggerland USA: New Jersey’s Industrial Themed Amusement Park
If you have ever wondered what it is like to operate a dump truck or a classic yellow industrial digger, the state of New Jersey has an entire amusement park dedicated to bulldozers, tractors, and large trucks.
Designed with kids and adults in mind, Diggerland USA offers visitors the chance to rumble around in the back of a military transport truck, ride a merry-go-round constructed out of authentic digger parts, and play a game of checkers on a giant board populated by enormous neon-colored traffic cones.
Diggerland recently added an adjacent water park called The Water Main that allows visitors the chance to cool down after a morning spent at the helm of a digger scooping up giant piles of dirt. You simply haven’t lived until you have strapped yourself into a demolition trailer called the Greased Beast and been “dumped” from a height of nearly 40 feet in the air.
