The Amalfi Coast boasts countless secluded beaches, making it challenging to visit all of them. However, the Fiordo di Furore stands out as a must-see, as it is one of the coast’s most unique geological features. Connected by the Amalfi Highway, visitors can access the beach via a bridge and descend stairs along the gorge’s cliffs. The beach offers several trails, including one that leads to an old fishing village and another that provides stunning ocean views.
Visitors have raved about the picturesque beauty of Fiordo di Furore, especially during the warmer months when swimming in the turquoise waters is a highlight. Although it can be difficult to get to, with limited parking and steep stairs, travelers agree it’s worth it and even called it the highlight of their trip.
Fiordo di Furore is located 4 miles southwest of Amalfi and can be reached by car or the Sita bus on the Positano-Amalfi line. Parking is available along the highway. The beach is open 24/7 and admission is free.
